Private Functions and Events

We have our Pear Tree Restaurant which can be hired out for 'Private Use'. Whether for a birthday celebration; Engagement Party; Wedding; Anniversary or Baby Shower gathering. In fact, we can cater for most events including Meetings and 'Celebrations of Life' gatherings.

We can arrange for flowers, balloons to bunting and all other decorations....

Engagement Parties...

An event we held for a local couple who got engaged. They requested platters of savory and sweet dishes for each table.

Birthday Parties...

An 80th Birthday Celebration for just a few friends where they had an area of the bar. On this specific occasion, they wanted 'Hog Roast Baps' with various Salads and Homemade Coleslaw.

Themed Baby Shower Parties...

This is an event for an Irish Group of friends who held a 'Baby Shower Party' with us. This was also a buffet menu but had all the food served on the table they were sat at. The table was filled with food once it all came out... The young lady who was having the baby knew nothing about this occasion that her friends had organised, so was a complete surprise to her when she walked in!

There are no set menus...

Your event is special to you, so we arrange to sit down with you and put a menu together for your specific requirements. Whether it be for a Buffet, a set menu or even just snacks... dependant on the occasion and the budget - we create dishes to what you really want...

We then collate all the information to create an 'Event Order Sheet' which will be everything we've agreed on for your event - so that everyone (Client and the Team) knows what to expect on the day.

Outdoor Summer Parties

During the summer months, why not hold your party outdoors in the sunshine, in our lovely beer garden at the rear of the pub. We can do lovely 'Finger Buffets' or maybe organise for a 'Hog Roast' or 'BBQ'... the options really are endless....
